Mayor Elizabeth Woodall proclaimed April 2023 as “Child Abuse Prevention Month” and presented the proclamation to CASA of Denton County at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023.
Casa of Denton County served 589 children affected by abuse and neglect in 2022. More than 240 volunteers from Denton County volunteer with the organization annually to ensure the safety of our community’s children.
