City Facility Closures

The City of Justin is closely monitoring the national outbreak of COVID-19.  The City continues to work with and take guidance from our public health partners at Denton County Public Health, The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure the City has best practices in place for the general public.

Facility Closures
With the health and safety of our residents, visitors, and staff being a top priority, the City of Justin is temporarily closing city facilities to walk-in public access.  City departments will provide services by appointment, but meetings and other communication will be done by phone or videoconference whenever possible. 

Beginning on March 20, 2020, the following facilities will be closed to walk-in public access:

  • Justin City Hall, 415 N. College Ave.
  • Justin Community Library, 408 Pafford St.
  • Justin Public Works, 217 E. 4th St.

Utility Bills
Residents can pay their water bill by utilizing the drop-box outside of City Hall or online at

All credit card fees have been suspended at this time to encourage the use of online payments.

Municipal Court
The public service window to pay court fines will be closed to the public.  Defendants are encouraged to use the online payment service by visiting

Municipal Parks/Trails
At this time, all city parks are closed to the public.  While we encourage residents to spend time outdoors and exercise, we ask that you practice social distancing and avoid congregating in groups.

City Council Meetings
The City Council may meet via teleconference and will share that information as part of any future posted agenda in order to allow for members of the public to join and provide comment.
