Sec. 6.103 Tall Grass and Weeds
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, owner, occupant, or tenant or anyone having supervision or control of any lot, tract or parcel of land or portion thereof, occupied or unoccupied, improved or unimproved, within the corporate city limits of the City of Justin to suffer or permit grass, weeds or any plat that is not cultivated to grow at a greater height than twelve inches (12") on an average or to grow in rank profusion upon such premises.


Sec. 6.101 Carrion, Filth and Other Impure Matter
No person owning, claiming, occupying or having supervision or control of any real property, occupied or unoccupied, within the city shall permit or allow any stagnant or unwholesome water, filth, carrion, rubbish, refuse, junk or garbage or impure or unwholesome matter of any kind.


Sec. 7.506 Junked Vehicles
(a) A junk vehicle that is located in a place where it is visible from a public place or public right-of-way is detrimental to the safety and welfare of the general public, tends to reduce the value of private property, invites vandalism, and creates fire hazards, is an attractive nuisance creating a hazard to the health and safety of minors, produces urban blight adverse to the maintenance and continuing development of municipalities. Junk vehicle means a vehicle that is self propelled and does not have lawfully attached to it an unexpired license plate; or a valid motor vehicle inspection certificate; and is wrecked, dismantled or partially dismantled, or discarded; or inoperable and has remained inoperable for more than 72 consecutive hours, if the vehicle is on public property; or 30 consecutive days, if the vehicle is on private property.


Sec. 7.204 Trash and Rubbish
(a) The keeping of any and all stacks, heaps, or piles of old lumber, refuse, junk, old cars or machinery or parts thereof, garbage, trash, rubbish, scrap material, ruins, or demolished or partly demolished structures or buildings, or piles of stones, bricks, or broken rock, on any premises bordering any public street in the City of Justin, so as to produce an unsightly and ugly appearance, and which may harbor reptiles or rodents, or create a fire hazard, or result in unsanitary conditions.
